For this project, we were awarded three bid packages – Site demolition, earthwork, and storm sewer, Site concrete, and Building concrete. Demolition included removing topsoil, demoing the parking lot, pavement, curb & gutter, trees, stirn sewer piping, and sidewalk. Inlets, manholes, and cleanouts were adjusted. We provided erosion control and completed the subgrade for pavement, sidewalks, stairs, and curb/gutter. We completed the storm sewer, including excavation, compaction, and fill. We connected storm sewer piping to existing pipes and structures. Site concrete included all new curb/gutter, sidewalks, steps, approaches, and aprons. Building concrete included footings and foundations for stairs and stoops. We also poured foundation walls, column pads, and slab on grade. We worked with a subontractor to provide and install handrails.
